- Belfagor (Article) — Respighi’s 1923 opera, premiered at La Scala: an archdemon is sent up from hell to test whether marriage is really as bad as the damned claim, disguises himself as a rich nobleman, and is ultimately foiled by bells that ring of their own accord.

- Nightwave Plaza (Website) — a 24/7 online radio station for vaporwave and future funk, running since 2015, with a player styled as a Windows 98 window over a city at night; you can rate tracks and scroll back through what’s played.
Soundscapes
myNoise (Website) — Stéphane Pigeon's library of soundscape generators for focus, relaxation and sleep — built and maintained by one sound engineer, ad-free and funded by donations. Every generator is a bank of sliders for mixing its layers, and a calibration test can fit the output to your hearing and headphones.
- Medieval Library (Interactive) — a monastery scriptorium to work in: fireplace, copyist monks, a distant church bell and Gregorian chant. The ticking clock comes with an author’s note admitting it’s an anachronism, and a slider to turn it off.
- Rain Noise (Interactive) — rain split by frequency, from low rumble to high pitter-patter, so you can shape it around whatever you’re trying to mask.
- Irish Coast (Interactive) — ocean waves, rain and wind, the site’s own pick for blocking out distracting noise.
